Overview Rope Bursting Systems

At a wide practical knowledge, acquired at Sliplining- and Pipe Bursting sites all over Europe and Siberia, RBS developed a complete new (static) Pipe Bursting system with Special Ropes as pulling medium to solve the problems of the users.

The Rope Bursting Systems manufactured by RBS are the fastest and safest Large Bursting Systems available on the market today:
- By using of a special rope downtimes for connecting the pulling device are cancelled (the feature that extremely reduce costs and improve job speed);
- It’s a simple one man operation system: It requires only one operator instead a crew (who is furthermore operating the system from outside the pit with a standard remote and is so out of danger zone);

- Because of its shear force insensitiveness pipelines with elbows of 15…20° also are replaceable without additional pits
- Single lengths up to 1.000 meters possible (for example at Sliplining or Swagelining projects)

Advantages of pulling medium Rope towards systems with Rods:
